Think of Nottingham and it is very likely you'll think of Robin Hood. He is without doubt, the worlds best known and best loved outlaw. Even today, you can still walk in the footsteps of Robin and his outlaw band, along the paths and trails in and around his beloved Sherwood Forest. Many other areas associated with our local hero are still in existence today, the remains of Nottingham and Newark Castles and of course St Mary's Church Edwinstowe, where Robin and his beautiful bride Maid Marian were married. These places and many more would still be recognizable to Robin and Marian today.
Robin Hood Productions is an independent media company dedicated to keeping the memory alive of that most English of outlaws, Robin Hood. We aim to uphold, treasure and promote the timeless tradition of storytelling by producing a series of films, audio Cd's, books and on-line resources about this medieval legend. We want to show children and adults of the 21st century just how the legend, together with his band of faithful followers, became the phenomenon he still is today.
We hope that our work will inspire storytellers, adventurers and all those who seek to right wrongs, to take heart from the tales that abound of our hero.
Our products are designed and produced for just that purpose and at a cost that, unlike Prince John's taxes, are affordable for all.
